Time angel

I was going to put my story for you to read but i am very sorry, but I got my prologue!

Prologue

The pressure has come at the new school. The brown and the blonde streaks show an American girl in the Japanese land…

The creak of the door has so much attention. 40 eyes stare right at her face… pressure. The boys’ eyes start to sparkle with joy, never take their eyes off.

“This is Ami, she moved here from America. Can you say hello?” The teacher asks with pleasure.

“Hey.” Ami sarcastically greets herself.

“Cool & spicy!” The class shouts.

She sits down with her red face looking with no emotions. The whole day she looks out the window wondering if she made a mistake.

She heads home all quiet…..

“HELP!” a fourth grade boy is being bullied by a bunch of eighth graders.

“Gives us those comics, you owe us!” the chubby black hair nerd demands. A book hits him on the head. The second teenager reads the name: Ami Hinamori. He’s in shock of who this book is. He runs as fast as he could with his friend. The boy thanks her and he fell in love. She headed back home and thinking why she did that, she wanted to protect him.

The door is open

On Monday June 7th half of the class went to the door is open.
"The door is open" is for the homeless or poor people to have food (lunch) so they wont get hungry. We left at 9:00a.m. and went to Hastings (that is where it is) I saw so may poor people. We arrived there with the bread we brought, and had to make tuna sandwiches (they felt squishy!!!) After that We played spin the juice box and
Arash blew a kiss to Martin (WEIRD!) They opened the doors! Clarissa and Jessica were giving out the soup and sandwiches while Juliana, Martin and I cleaned the pots. When we ran out of soup we gave candy bars.

I was very proud of myself of what i did!
(sorry if this is short!)

10 best moments at Evan's Lake Awards (T.B.M.E.L.A.)

Today is the T.B.M.E.L.A. there are at least 10 moments. We start from 10 all the way to 1 (least to greatest) We start NOW!

10. doing the entertainment for cabin inspections!
those weren't the greatest because I didn't enjoy it also, some other cabin members did not enjoy it either. I just wanted to do it for the other members to be happy. I felt a bit embarrassed a bit just because of the teachers. One comment is that don't always do singing do dancing, your talent, a skit or anything you think of!

9. working in activity groups!
The work we had to do on Tuesday is the most boring thing to do. (except for the water study) we had learn the ecosystems the boring way. In the soil study Justin kept digging and digging , until we found beetles..... millipede.... worms I see that all the time. Now on Thursday that was a whole lot of fun! with Mr.Dotto and Ms.Grossi made us draw sketches of where ever at Evan's lake. then we had a volleyball game and the winning team gets a small bags of chips each. (my team won!)

8. The Evan's Lake dance
we had a dance that we did on Wednesday. Surprisingly many people danced. I really enjoyed it! (most of the people were eating..)

7. Archery
On Thursday we did archery with Clo. I failed at doing this..... It has been around 6 or 7 yrs. ago since i did archery in brownies! (Girl scout)

6. Canoeing
Well this is my first time going canoeing and I was very excited going. I was at the front (the back had to steer) for some reason i had to steer the canoe..... awkward!

5. Gotcha! frog?
For water study we needed to find animals (or species) in the water. Stephen caught a..... frog. The name was Simon. (I miss it alot)

4. Breakfast, lunch and din din!(dinner)
The food was great their especially their desserts. Their rice krispies were good! For some reason I want to go back their to have their food!!!!

3. Walk, search.... STUMP!
With Miss Surian we did a compass thing and my partner and I won. We did one just for fun and ran into a stump!

2. Congrats!Julimei!
For lunch the table that I was sitting at they started to sing happy birthday. She was a bit embarrassed. (She turned 13 years old!)

The final one is here........ the winner of the T.B.M.E.L.A. is.............

1. stand, crouch.. SPLASH!!
For water study we were in groups of two and I teamed up with Julimei. Now, i was on this log that is near the water Justin went on and..... SPLASH! right in the water are all wet and smell bad! When I got home my dad was generous to clean them, THANK YOU!

Well that all we have! UNTIL NEXT TIME ON T.B.M.E.L.A.! bye!!!!!!!!!!!!

Confirmation retreat

On March Wed. 24Th 2010 the grade seven had a retreat before our confirmation that is on April 12Th What we done there is trying to get closer to God. They had a few plays/skits like to one if they weren't in the N.E.T. Ministry they would be a carpenter, a farmer, person that serves coffee on the plane or whatever they want. After they put us into small groups (the girls were in one group because we have less) They tell each other our names and what is your favourite (ex. dessert, food, game, hobbies, etc.) After we had prayer in Star War version (I really didn't like it at all...) Later that day (or after lunch) We played ship and everyone's It (it: tag) Just an hour before to go we had mass, but way before that we had confession, then we had mass. We had our last prayer and got this coupon that you can have a free download for the songs from the massive worship band! I hope the grade sixes will have a great time next year!!!

THE WHISPER OF GRADE SEVEN

Hey my name is Kristina :) and your name is Kim also you Monica. I am from grade seven and it will soon be your turn to be the leaders of this school. You'll be very excited of what is going to happen in grade seven and the expectation that Mr.D (Mr.Dotto)would like.

My first project was the marketing project (We did this in groups) In the project you can make a product or a business such as a restaurant or this business that Martyna, Isabel, Zach and Brendon did Instant Clean Super Maid. The second project is saint project. The saint project is your confirmation name and the project is on the laptop. The other projects are ancient city night, cooking show and iron chef.

The expectations that Mr. Dotto would like is that you must do your homework or else you will be on the board for the homework Grand Prix. (example: Stephen(2)) when they have a 2 or higher you lose at least 2 rolls! the other expectations are related to high school like rules. ^-^

We also have service hours (volunteering). We had to get at least 10 service hours. There was one at least that half of the class did at "The Door Is Open" (Also the other half did too) The first group went and I had to go, but I had to get my braces, so I went with the next group. When I went there we made Tuna sandwiches by hand (Mr.D told us to bring bread) They made soup as well, and I had to serve it (not really) BEWARE: THEY MIGHT SWEAR OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT! We also got 3 hrs of service, but our group got 2 1/2 because some people didn't listen!

There was also Sports Day (it's not service hours) But I think you know what to do! There is also a water fight and Spray Mr. Field (trust me!)

Have Fun next year!
TTFN (Ta Ta For Now!)

Super size me part 1

The movie we watched today called Super Size Me. It is about this guy who is having Mc Donald's (Yuk!) for a month. The most surprising yet sometimes disturbing part is that he puked, about the facts about obesety (that can almost cause death than smoking) the food he eats, how much he gained and how Mc Donald's pesuade people.

On day one or two he had a quarter-pound burger and it took him at least an hour. A few minutes later he vomit outside of his car (because he was inside the car). The colour of the thing is kind of orange yellowish.

The thing about america and other country is obesety. It is getting closer to being way too obese than smoking . Most people don't pefer homemade dinner and they prefer going out to fastfoods. It can cause other problems such as asthma, diabetes, breast cancer, etc.

The food he eats he super sizes them and the food looks disgusting such as the Fillet Sandwich. the sauce was stuck together with the fish. There is almost sugar in all the foods including the salads. At other schools they have cafeterias and one school is made by frozen foods, then all heated up. This other school's food is made homemade and healthy and also they have this 'fun' like place that gibes you exersise.

Mc Donald's persuade kids by givin' happy meals, toys, playhouse and birthday parties. The kids are obesety or overweight. People tested the kids of the resturants and people. When they showed a picture of Jesus this girl thought it was George W. Bush and others didn't know, but when they Ronald Mc Donald they knew who he was.

After they showed super size me they did not have any more super sizes.

SAFE AS HOUSES CHAPTER 10 AND 11 (THE FINAL CHAPTERS)

Chapter 10 starts when they are wondering why the house is moving such as the other houses. They were scared and worried, but then David saw other lights flickering, so he waved his flashlight, but it was dim. The house was moving when Suzie woke up and they were in trouble! Elizabeth had an idea. She said that they can go to the trees that aren't broken, so they did.

In chapter 11 Lizzie goes to the tree first because she can catch David and Suzie. When she went into the water was freezing! When she got there she stayed at the bottom. As they all got there Suzie went to the top, David and Lizzie take shifts every 5 mins. Later that time they saw a boat, but it didn't see them, but the boat came back and saw them! When they got on shore they were relieved, then they wanted to use the phone, so they got into the police car and David said "We were safe as houses"

The challenges were always the same because there is only one huge problem.
The villian is still the same.
This is the end of the book, so there is no climax.

Chapter 8 and 9 of 'Safe As Houses'

In chapter 8 it begins when they are stuck on the roof while the city is flooding. The water is rising and they have to get higher. Lizzie went up to the highest point, but then she saw three figures on the house next to them. When she went back down she told Suzie and David to get to the top. When they got to the top, Elizabeth had to bring Daisy up. David used a belt to use it as a leash for Daisy. While bringing her up to the top, the belt broke and Daisy fell into the water!!

Chapter 9 starts when Lizzie and Suzie are worried that daisy is dead, but David told them not to worry. While sitting there, David sees the house next door moving and then all three see it drifting towards them, soon they are able to reach each other. The family next door is the Van Dyke family, they have 5 members in the family, but there's only 3.

The new challenges they have to face is to survive this chaos and the cold or they might die. In my opinion these chapters are in between the climax because hte excitement started when the house was flooding. There is a villain and it is the storm because the storm is flooding the city.

My prediction in chapter 11 is that the water reaches to them and now they have to swim and find shelter.
